Welcome to the Open Adit™ Rocks & Minerals auctions page. On March 18^th, 2003 we listed our first mineral specimen and have continued to do so ever since. As of April 2005, all eBay & Yahoo auctions are handled by Open Adit™ West located in Tucson, AZ. Each week, several mineral & fossil specimens are routinely posted on eBay, the world's largest online marketplace made up of a community of individuals and small businesses. Below, you will find links to just a few of the specimens that we currently have available for bidding. The vast majority of these specimens will not be found on our site. These normally include the larger, decorator specimens weighing over 2 lbs or more, but any size can show up.

General Information:

As a consistent course of business we use the No Reserve approach on our auctions. We believe it is unreasonable for a buyer to spend time reviewing an eBay item, make a reasonable bid, only to learn that the seller had an unrealistic reserve bid set. We also believe in the bid process and do not offer the Buy It Now feature in our auctions. Auction winners can pay via PayPal, money order, cashiers or personal check.
