The Vug is the web's largest link portal for mineral, lapidary, gem and fossil enthusiasts, with over 530 categorized links. Its main purpose is to provide an easily-navigated jump-off point to explore the rockhound's web world. It is updated very frequently  - an average of about three times per day  - with the very latest updates from the rockhound's favorite dealers, publications, clubs, etc. The site design is deliberately minimalistic in order to decrease download time and maximize ease of navigation.
